Leadership Experience Design
Helping organisations move from intent to action.
Leadership development doesn't happen because organisations talk about it. It happens when intentions are translated into purposeful experiences that change behaviour, strengthen teams and improve organisational performance.
Standby Go helps organisations bridge the gap between ambition and action through Leadership Experience Design.
Our philosophy
Words without action are just noise.
Every organisation talks about developing leaders.
Many talk about collaboration. Many talk about culture. Many talk about engagement.
But real change happens when those ambitions become purposeful action.
Standby Go exists to help organisations move from good intentions to meaningful action.
What Standby Go does
One offer: Leadership Experience Design
An organisation nominates a leader. That leader owns a real organisational project. Standby Go coaches and mentors them through planning, delivery and evaluation. The organisation ends up with two things: a delivered project, and evidenced leadership development in that person.
The project can take many forms: study visits, adventurous activities, team workshops, charity challenges or internal projects.
Where it applies
- Preparing a first-time leader to run something they have not run before
- Building cohesion in a team that has changed shape
- Readiness for transition and handover
What clients carry away
- A completed project the organisation actually needed
- Evidence of how the nominated leader developed
- A repeatable journey, not an event
Who this is for
Organisations that want evidence-based, reflective, long-term leadership development.
It is not cheap team-building, tick-box training, or a one-off activity day.
Experience behind the work
Built on practice, not promises
Standby Go Ltd is founded by Roger Harnden and draws on decades of leadership, training design, coaching, mentoring, welfare and organisational development experience.
